After a preposition (between, for, with, to, by, after…) always use an object pronoun: me, you, him, her, it, us, them

Teaching Notes

Hypercorrection ('between you and I') is extremely common, even among educated adults. Teach the 'remove-one-person' trick so students can test by ear. Explain that 'I' after a preposition always sounds wrong when the other person is removed.
